What to Expect from Your EMSELLA® Experience

Before Your Visit

You will start with a consultation to review your health history and determine if EMSELLA® is right for you. From there, we will build a treatment plan tailored to your goals.

During Treatment

Each EMSELLA® session takes about 28 minutes. You will remain fully clothed and seated comfortably in the EMSELLA® chair while HIFEM® technology induces approximately 12,000 supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions, equivalent to thousands of Kegel exercises you could not achieve on your own.

Treatment Schedule

Most patients complete sessions twice a week for three weeks, for a total of six treatments, unless directed otherwise by our providers.

After Treatment

EMSELLA® is noninvasive with zero downtime, so you can return to your normal activities right away. The most common mild effect simply mimics the feeling of a rigorous workout. Many patients feel stronger and tighter after just the first treatment, though final results are typically achieved around 90 days after your last session, once the muscle has had time to fully develop. Results vary, but most patients do not need a follow-up session for 6 to 12 months.
